Paolo Bertoluzzo

Paolo Bertoluzzo has been Chief Executive Officer of Nexi and Nexi Payments since July 2016.

Paolo is also Chairman of the Nexi Strategic Committee.

Prior to joining Nexi, he served as Chief Commercial Operations and Strategy Officer of the Vodafone Group Plc with responsibility for Vodafone’s global commercial management, strategy and operations, as well as innovation and transformation projects. From 2008 to 2013 Paolo Bertoluzzo was Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Italy and since 2012 of the Southern Region, when he became a member of the Vodafone Group’s Executive Committee.

Paolo joined Vodafone Italy in 1999, where he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer (2007), Chief Commercial Operations Officer (2006) and headed the Consumer division (2005). Between 2010 and 2012 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Vodacom, the largest mobile communications group in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Vodafone Ireland.

Currently, he is a member of the Politecnico of Milan Advisory Board. From 2013 to 2016 he served as a Member of the GSMA Board, the worldwide telecom industry Association.

Paolo graduated with a degree cum laude in Management Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan in 1990 and completed an MBA with distinction from INSEAD (Fontainebleau - France) in 1994. He started his career as a management consultant working both in Europe and the United States.

From 1994 to 2009 Klaus Pedersen held various executive positions in the TDC Group (Telecom). This covers positions within financial, operational and commercial areas, including being CFO in Sunrise AG in Switzerland from 2000 to 2004 and being CEO for the Nordic B2B business from 2007 to 2009.

Klaus was CFO and later acting CEO at DSB (transportation) from 2010 to 2011.
Klaus was CFO at Chr. Hansen Holding (ingredients) from 2011 to 2015.
As from September 2015, Klaus joined Nets as CFO and effective 1 July 2021, he was appointed Nets CEO.

Klaus holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration – Finance (Cand. Merc.) from Aarhus School of Business.

Bernardo Mingrone

Bernardo Mingrone is Chief Financial Officer of Nexi Group since 2016.

Prior to that, he was Group Chief Financial Officer of Unicredit Group, Deputy General Manager in charge of Finance and Operations of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Group Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy of Pioneer Global Asset Management, preceded by a career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan.

He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mercury Payment Services, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fabrica Immobiliare SGR, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anima Holding, Board Member in AXA MPS and of AS Roma.

Bernardo holds a degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Since February 2021 Roberto Catanzaro has been Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer at Nexi, where he previously was Business Development Director from 2016 to 2021, coordinating projects of digital and strategic innovation and transformation.

After graduating in Chemical Engineering, he started his career at the consulting firms Accenture and McKinsey, coordinating CRM, Marketing, and Sales projects for prime financial services industries.

From 2005 to 2014 he worked at Allianz Italia, taking on managerial roles in Commercial, Planning and Marketing. Among other tasks, he dealt with Allianz digital transformation working on its front office platforms, CRM systems, and developing and improving modern analytical marketing tools and an European platform of e-business.

He has been working at Nexi (formerly CartaSi) since 2014, where he previously was Marketing Director.

Giuseppe Dallona is CIO at Nexi Group since November 2017.

Formed professionally in software engineering at Centro di Calcolo of Catholic University in Milan he starts his career in 1984 with a decade of work in IT and Management Consulting companies such as Arthur Andersen & Co., GEI – General Electric Information Services and Ernst & Young Consultants.

From 1994 to 2001 he is in charge of IT Directional Systems at Intesa Sistemi e Servizi (Banca Intesa) and implementation of management systems for Banco Ambrosiano Veneto-Cariplo-Comit mergers.

From 2001 to 2015 he is CIO at UBI Sistemi e Servizi (UBI Banca), filling moreover the role of General Director of the Company since 2005.

He manages the construction of the Information System and the Merger Project between Banca Lombarda and Banche Popolari Unite; he is Board Member of UBISS and SIA and participates at the Steering Committee of UBI.

In 2015 and 2016 he is CIO of Poste Italiane and CEO of Postecom with an active participation in the IPO of Poste Italiane and IT transformation program forming part of Poste 2020 industrial plan.

Since November 2016 he is CIO of ICBPI (Istituto Centrale delle Banche Popolari Italiane) first and CIO of Nexi Group then.

Pia has extensive international executive leadership experience within information system solutions, working with General Electric (GE), Washington Mutual Corporation and JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Enrico Trovati is Director of the Business Unit Merchant Services & Solutions since October 2016.

He graduated in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico of Milan.

After his professional experience in McKinsey & Company as Associate Principal and Member of European Telecom Practice Leadership Group, from 2004 he performed various roles in Telecom Italia, mainly in Value Added Services Marketing and Web Marketing.

From 2008 to 2009 he has been CEO of Matrix S.p.A., Telecom Italia Group, then Marketing Director and Sales Director of the Business Market and Marketing Director of Business, Top & Public Sector since September 2016.

Prior to Nets, he was heading as CEO of 1&1 Internet SE and board member of United Internet AG.

Renato Martini

Renato Martini is Head of Digital Banking Solutions since March 2017.

Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome and with a Master in Business Administration at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, he starts his career in 1993-1994 as Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting, London.

From 1995 to 2003 he is in McKinsey & Co., Milan, where he becomes Associate Principal, in charge of many projects for Financial Institutions, including payments and product innovation in Corporate Banking.

From 2004 to 2013 he is in UniCredit Group, where he becomes Head of Global Marketing for Small and Medium Enterprises with projects also in Germany, Austria and Polonia and then become Head of Italian Corporate Marketing.

In 2013 he is appointed CEO of UniCredit Factoring and in 2014 he is promoted Executive Vice President of UniCredit Group.

Andrea Mencarini

Andrea Mencarini is Director of Issuing Business Unit since October 2016.

He graduated in Economics and Commerce and started his career in marketing at the Api Group and then at the De Agostini Group, where he was responsible for loyalty, advertising and customer services projects.

From 1998 to 2002, he held a number of commercial positions at Rolo Banca 1473. He then joined UniCredit Group, where, up to 2008, he performed various roles in the commercial area as Head of Sales Mass Market and subsequently, in the marketing area as Head of Marketing Family and Senior.

From 2008 to 2016, he was Head of Marketing for Retail Customers at the Banco Popolare Group. He was responsible for the development and launch of financial services and products in the transnational, insurance, financial and social security segments supporting both the physical and the digital channels.

Since October 2016 he is Responsible for the Cards & Digital Payments in Nexi, where he is in charge of coordinating all the development and go-to-market activities concerning payment products, from credit, debit and prepaid cards range for both private customers and businesses to all mobile and digital payment devices.

From 2007 to 2014 he worked in Vodafone where he held different positions in the Commercial area, starting as Head of Wholesale Business and Head of Consumer Products, then Sales Director.

Previously he worked for the strategic consulting Society Bain & Company specializing in Financial Services, Insurance, Consumer Goods, TelCo and Private Equity operations.

Saverio Tridico

Saverio Tridico is the Corporate & External Affairs Director of the Nexi Group since January 2017: he represents the company before the Institutions, Public Administration, Authorities, and coordinates the Legal team, the Corporate Affairs, the external Communication and the Security department.

Previously, he was the Public & Legal Affairs Director of Vodafone Italy, company in which Saverio held various offices with growing responsibilities between 2003 and 2016, until he became a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Saverio was also Chairman of TeleTu.

He gained important experiences, also abroad, in Eni and Autogrill and worked as a lawyer in primary standing international legal offices.

Currently Saverio is also Chairman of Mercury Payments Services, Company of Nexi Group.

Gianluca Ventura is the Group HR Organization and Change Director and, since November 2019, Chief Human Resources Officer for Nets Group.

Prior to Nets, Gianluca spent 16 years at Vodafone Group in various leadership roles: HR Director Vodafone Italy until 2012, HR Director for Southern Europe and then HR Director for the Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific Region and interim Group CHRO.

Gianluca was also a non-executive board director for Safaricom in Kenya, Vodafone Hutchinson in Australia and Vodafone Qatar.

Gianluca graduated at Bocconi University in Business Administration with a major in Organization and HR and has then completed the master CEMS at Esade Barcelona.

Silvia Beraldo was appointed Chief Administration Officer of Nexi Group in May 2018 with the responsibility of HR, Organization & Processes and Real Estate & Facility Management and Internal Communication.

Prior to joining Nexi Group, Silvia was in GlaxoSmithKline - part of GSK Group - as HR Country Head & Pharma HR Business Leader in charge of HR, Organization and General services for Pharma, Manufacturing, Consumer Healthcare, ViiV e Vaccines Companies. She also worked for Parmalat from 2010 to 2014 as Human Resources Director.

Silvia has a strong background in strategic consulting and organization redesign, obtained through several experiences in international companies like Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Consulting. She earned a degree in Business Economics from the University Cà Foscari in Venice.

Federico Ferlenghi is Operations Director in Nexi and CEO of Help Line since May 2017.

Graduated in Management Engineering at Politecnico of Milan and with an MBA at MIP,  Federico has gained various professional experiences since 1999 mainly in Customer Operations of Companies like DHL Express, Ratti, CBS Outdoor and Vodafone.

Since 2010 he performed various roles in Sky Italy until becoming Senior Director Customer Care in 2013.

Alessia is responsible for risk management activities in Nexi Group.

She joint Nexi Payments in February 2019; she implemented an Enterprise wide Risk Management Framework and she is continuously developing technological capabilities to improve operational risk management as well as ESG risk monitoring.

She graduated in Bocconi University in 1999 and began her carrier as Internal Auditor in Pirelli & C. SpA (2000-2010) managing significant compliance and internal control projects; she has been appointed as Group Risk Officer in 2010.

From May 2014 she has been Group Risk Management Director in Luxottica, from October 2016 she took the role of Group Risk & Compliance Director, managing the implementation of the main compliance program at Group level.

Graduate in Science Banking Financing and Insurance at Catholic University of Milan, starts his career as consultant for IS audit matters in 1996. Certified auditor since 1999, develops his career into Woolwich Bank Audit and then into Marconi Group as PMO on IT security projects. Called in 2002 to join Group Audit Dept. of UniCredit he enriches his professional experience internationally across all UniCredit Legal Entities. 

Involved, among the others, in several transformation and integration projects in 2008 gains the responsibility of Group ICT auditing and directly manages the relationship with Central Banks’ teams of different countries. On 2013, he is additionally appointed as Chief Audit Executive of the services companies UBIS Italy and Austria altogether with buddybank and iFaber Legal Entities.

From July 2017 called to manage the audit activities for all Nexi Group entities (former ICBPI); contributing in managing its transformation toward IPO and enlisted status.

Daniela Bragante

Graduated in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences at Università Cattolica di Milano in 1993, Daniela starts her professional career as External Auditor for the banking and financial sector within Pricewaterhousecoopers.

In 1998 she joins Morgan Stanley at Milan’s headquarters and within the Financial Controllers Direction she works at the first asset securitization operation ever in Italy, and participates to several cross-country projects. In the year 2000, Daniela joins Citigroup, at first taking responsibility of the Audit Function for Citibank and then for Citifin.

In 2007 she is Responsible for the Audit Function of CartaSi Group and member of the Supervisory bodies of the Groups’ subsidiaries. Following the takeover by ICBPI, she takes the responsibility of the Group’s Compliance Function, with the assignment of setting up a new structure for the management of non-compliance risks.

In 2007 Daniela becomes Chief Executive of Compliance and Anti Money Laundering for Nexi Payments. She is also Group Data Protection Officer since May 2018.

Daniela is Certified Public Accountant and Legal Auditor.
