When I was starting at Nexi it was not yet clear to me that my career path as a working student in the warehouse would lead to becoming a Junior Product Manager.

My initial plan was to write my master's thesis and gain specialist knowledge, especially in the field of logistics. But restructuring measures thwarted my plan. I could not continue working in the logistics department.

But upheavals like this also offer opportunities. I changed departments within Nexi and entered an area that was very new to me. As a logistician, I had no idea about the payment industry, but I quickly realized how exciting and multifaceted the world of payment is. I finished my degree and accepted a job offer as Junior Product Manager at Nexi. And again, a new department with completely new tasks awaited me.

In retrospect, I can say that Nexi showed me a path that I never thought I would take. But I am glad that I took advantage of all the opportunities I got. Nowadays, mastering exciting tasks and complex requirements make up my daily work at Nexi. It is always challenging but never boring and constantly advances my personal development.

When I started with Nets, I was immediately trusted to participate in many different projects.

This allowed me to better understand the business and to develop multiple skills quickly. My leader has been very flexible when it comes to balancing work and studies and he has been like a mentor to me, giving me guidance in my studies and carrier development.

I am doing my Master thesis in collaboration with Nets which is an amazing opportunity to combine the two. Everyone in my department is super interested and many have offered to help, whether if it is doing interviews or sharing knowledge.

I’ve been in Nexi for almost two years now and started working here during my last year of my master’s degree.

As a working student in project management I learned a lot about the processes within the company and was only surrounded by helpful colleagues.

After that, I knew that I wanted to join this company as a full-time employee. Although I decided to start in another area of the company, I got full support from the company and was able to start full-time in marketing without any problems.

One year later, I can say that this was the best step for me after my studies and I notice that I am constantly developing in my field. Furthermore, my own ideas and suggestions are always welcomed which motivates me even more to research und learn more in my area.

I joined Nexi in March 2018, more than five years ago after graduation and a short summer internship in London, I decided to move to Milan, where this exciting “graduate program” opportunity in Nexi arose. I started as an intern in the Strategy & Innovation team, where I had the chance to work both on strategic projects such as the SmartPOS and on internal managerial presentations.

The graduate program then allowed me to cover three different roles: Product Development (MS&S BU), Strategic Planning & Reporting (CFO Area) and finally Group Business Strategy (CTSO Area).

I have recently come back to the MS&S Business Unit to cover a Sales role, which I am sure will further widen and strengthen the large set of skills that I have been able to develop by interacting with so many different teams and people. Nexi offered me the opportunity to dive into the business world as well as on the activities of support functions, also going through complex and multi-geographical business combinations, thus making me able to understand how the complex gears of Nexi and the Fintech ecosystem at large work.

I also had the chance to be managed by supportive leaders, who constantly encouraged me to do my best and to pursue my career development ambitions. I feel like I have grown a lot both personally and as a worker in the years I spent in Nexi and look forward to the exciting challenges that the company faces ahead.

After six months of participation at the Nexi Graduate Academy I already feel prepared for the daily challenges that lie ahead.

The various courses I have taken have enabled me to get familiar with the nature of the business and the various business areas and to learn about the values, history, and prospects of the company.

Thanks to the workshops organized during the academy, I had the opportunity to reflect on my future career path and ambitions.

The participation in the business case simulation has been a challenging yet fulfilling experience that allowed me to deepen my learnings about the digital payments industry, while being surrounded by outstanding and inspiring colleagues.

Looking back at all projects I have worked on, I can only express my gratitude to my team for always being supportive and for trusting me well enough to give me significant responsibilities that really made me feel valued. My overall experience at the company has been fantastic.

Getting to start as an intern and move into a full-time position I got the opportunity to learn a lot from coworkers. It had been an amazing work experience!

It has been more than three years since I came here searching for a student job. I was assigned to the Security Office team and that proved to be a perfect match.

Thanks to my colleagues, I have found myself in the security domain and gained valuable experience through assigned tasks and projects. Even my master’s thesis was inspired by my engagement in the audit process. Now, when I look back at my beginnings and compare it with today, I see it was a right step for my career.

I’ve been working at Nexi alongside my studies for almost three years now.

Working at Nexi has been an exciting and interesting journey learning many new things and broadening my horizons! I’m proud to be part of important projects that support different parts of the organization. I would definitely recommend it to other students in a similar stage, as it is great preparation for future full-time roles! I started working at Nexi about 9 months ago.

I was in an entirely different field and was looking for a job in Swedish-speaking customer service when I got a recommendation from a friend to come work at Nexi.

Now we are colleagues, and we have a brilliant team to work with and I am excited for what the future might bring.

Nexi was actually my 2nd choice when I was looking for a new job last summer.

Before working at Nexi, I wasn’t very fond of phone calls, but after joining the company and starting working on the Customer Service Representative role, I am much more confident over the phone. Practice makes perfect, as they say. If I knew how much I would enjoy my time working with my amazing colleagues, Nexi would’ve certainly been the 1st choice.

I have been working for a company under Nexi since 2021.

I graduated from a technical high school and with only one year of experience in the job market, I undertook recruitment at my current workplace.
During recruitment as well as training I was constantly supported and encouraged to develop further. I started as a consultant for the technical department and was the first woman on my team.

After less than a year, I was offered the opportunity to become a team leader and, with support from my supervisors, I took on this challenge. All this while doing extramural studies.
I wouldn't have succeeded if it wasn't for a schedule that was always adjusted according to my availability.

Thanks to the constant changes at Nexi and the development of employee support, I have also received annual funding for my studies, which allows me to invest in my true passions in the meantime. Given my age and experience, even now I find it hard to believe that I have been given such opportunities in my life and am now doing something I really enjoy.

I’ve been in Nexi for almost a year now, and came into the company with no experience at all.

Polskie ePłatności offered me an opportunity to dive into the business world as a Business Analyst. My leader and teammates have always been there to guide me. Learning about business analysis on the faculty is one thing, but keeping track of all the changes in daily work is a totally different story.

A year from then, I feel like I’m more than ready to continue developing in this area.

I have been working at Nexi for 15 years and this had been my first working experience after graduating from my studies (Nursing University).

My journey started in customer service function as agent and then I got a promotion as Team Leader, while during my free time I was providing health services in a volunteer humanitarian program in Uganda.

Υears later, the position of in-house nurse within Health & Safety Department was offered to me but my development did not stop there, as Nexi soon supported me to my next carrier step offering me the opportunity to become Manager of the Health and Safety department.

I am thankful to my mentors and leaders in my professional journey in Nexi Greece who were by my side and supported my personal development.
