The country's recovery, the central role of local administrations in implementing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the great challenges of the present, from the ecological transition to the digital transition: these are the major themes of the three-day 34th Annual Assembly of the National Association of Italian Municipalities. An edition dedicated to the future of municipalities and the challenges of the PNRR.
A special assembly that was held from 22 to 24 November in Bergamo and that saw the participation of the highest institutional offices, starting from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the live connection of the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who highlighted a new centrality for municipalities as a priority of the Government, to the speeches of the President of Anci, Antonio de Caro, and the host mayor Giorgio Gori, who emphasised the strong link between Mayors and their territories and their commitment to giving concrete answers to citizens.
