Human Factor

The human factor and human capital have always been at the centre of values in the Company, since the beginning. We know that people and their competences and competitive assets make the difference on business and human richness.

Nexi, born in 2017, on the Companies CartaSi and ICBPI, continued on the solid footpath started by the previous Companies, enhancing all human experiences and competencies as a great value of people that entered in the years, both from acquisitions of previous companies and recruitment of people from different industries. Engaged in a profound cultural transformation as of 2017, we have combined our drive towards a common organisational identity, based on our Values centred on our Clients, on building the future, on excellence and on staying simple, with a firm desire to foster a sense of belonging among our employees, engaging each and every one of them in building the present and future Nexi.

Based on values and in line with pillars of the Group’s strategy, on a staff management footing, the Group has built its People Strategy around the goal of developing the best team of people on the market in terms of skills and leadership, valuing and integrating diversity and inclusion through learning/training programs via innovative methods/approaches and engaging people building welfare tailor‑made initiatives.

Our attention to innovation and digital payments, the way we explore our Customers’ needs is the result of this mindset of different experiences, needs and cultures. A human factor that enriches not only the Company’s internal values but mostly our external attention to Clients: Nexi effort consists in enhancing all these different experiences and technical competences coming from multiple Companies, national and multinational ones.

Nexi success, thus, is strictly connected to caring of human resources through skilled training programs, as a strategic choice of growth: it is in this context that all the Group’s projects were conceived, including the challenging Skill‑Up one, the program born in December 2019 and based on the European e‑Competence Framework and Digital Readiness Model of Politecnico of Milan.
